My dear player community, today I want to put on your consideration a well known player, Silent Dawn to join us in the GM team, if you don't know who she is maybe you know her under a different name, she is very active playing as Dusky and Siobhan
My reasons for nominate her:
She is an old player, who knows the game very well and love it and in case she pass the poll she will get a chance to help the game she love from a different perspective.
Not also she knows the game a lot but she is very active as a player.
She is from Portugal that is something I particular love, she is online in hours we cannot be, and her native language is Portuguese that will be a huge addition for the GM team none of us talk Portuguese and we have a numerous amount of players from Brazil and Portugal.
She is a great woman and already showed us how much she can help the GM team, for years now she helped translating for us to Brazilian players who had trouble to understand the game. Also helped the GM team testing quest before they add it to the main server.
Her patience is amazing I saw her trying to explain the rules and concept of the game to players for a long time and never got tired.
She is really mature so I'm 100% she can deal with our beloved trolls.
Please if you don't know her, go and talk to her before you cast you vote. Thank you.

Forum rules
1. Each member of the community can make a topic (poll) suggesting another person for a GM. You can't make a poll for yourself.
2. One topic per person, any duplicates will be removed and votes will be lost.
3. Each poll has to be done according to the schema (yes has to be first option and no the second):
"Do you agree for person X to become a GM?"
"Yes."
"No."
You are supposed to allow only one option per user and allow revoting.
You are supposed to pick "run for 0 days".
4. A person suggested has to collect at least 45 votes (or more) for yes, with minimum 75% for yes and maximum 25% for no (3:1 ratio).
5. A person suggested may request closing of the topic.
6. Only posts containing valid pros and cons are allowed in the threads, discussions however are not allowed. For discussions about particular case use Player Talk forums.
7. If a person collects the required votes, assuming there are free positions and no objections are raised, they'll be granted "Junior GM" rights for a certain period.
8. After training and approval from the senior GMs, the team will formally grant full GM rights and team membership.
9. If many persons will gain required voices, voice count will matter.
10. The amount of GMs to pick in certain time line will be determined by the TMW Team (Admins, GMs and developers).
11. Persons rejected due lack of free positions will be put on hold till any position becomes available (according to vote count).
12. If more than a year passes, a new poll must be open to ensure the community is still fine with the nomination.
13. Usual GM choosing criteria and guidelines still apply, persons not meeting those criteria will be rejected and will have their thread closed.
14. Sockpuppeting will be detected and all accounts, including the master's one will be banned forever without warning. There is one vote per person, and a person means a human being not a forum account.
15. If this forum will turn into a flame war cave, people posting here will act unreasonably and will break the rules on massive scale, forum will be closed down. So use it wisely.
16. If you don't know a person suggested, it is better to find out who is s/he and what they do before voting, do not vote "no" just because you don't know someone.
17. State EXACT player name that clearly identify a person (in game or on forums - precise which one it is).
18. After a candidate receives required amount of votes, the poll is closed, a candidate reviewed by the TMW Committee and asked (or not - in case of valid objections) to become a GM.
19. You need to have at least 10 posts to participate in the polls.

Yes! 1000x yes! I introduced Silent Dawn to tmw and I am glad I did it, for so many reasons =) SD is an excellent person, with all the qualities a good GM should have. You have my total support =)

I voted Yes, Silent Dawn has always been nice and kind to other players and helps them when she can. She can handle trolls which is needed and she wants to help. I Believe Silent Dawn is a good candidate.

She has got my vote.
My reasons are first and foremost that she is an old time player whom I've never heard anything bad about, that says someting. From the way she has treated me I have no reasons tothink that she would not be a good GM.
Also a big plus is the fact that she is often on the hours when others GMs are not easy to find.

I know Silent Dawn for a long time now, and played with her and alts a lot. I think there is no need yo repeat her qualities that Narus exposed quite well, and make her one of the best possible GM in game. Her portuguese mother language is an great "plus" to GM team, just as her time schedule in game.
Thus I can only support voting for her, and am happy to do it.

For those you don’t know me,
I’m 26 years old and i’m from Portugal. I started to play TMW in September 2009.
I consider myself quite active (you may not see me always with Silent Dawn, but like Narus pointed out,
you may see Dusky or Siobhan around often).
I’ve always enjoyed playing this game very much. I also like to help players whenever i can.
It’s true that my native language is portuguese. Therefore, i could help the GM team overcome
the language barrier between them and the Brazilian/Portuguese community.
I’ve noticed that on the hours i’m usually online, mostly in the afternoon (server time),
we currently lack GM’s on that period. If i’ll ever get the chance to become a GM, i could
help fill that gap while the other GM’s are not available.
If i ll ever become a GM, i ll take the position seriously and do everything I can to be a good GM,
even if it means i ll have to punish one of my friends in game.

Like some players said above, i would vote yes if i could, unfortunately i am not so active on the forums.
I know silent dawn for a few months now and the reasons i would vote yes are mentioned above, she is patient and she is always wiling to help players whenever she can.
I could add much more compliments on Silent Dawn but it would be going off topic.

My reason's i've been around for a long time (since 2006) and knew Silent Dawn for a long while as well though, i never talked to her till i rejoined this past oct/nov 2012.
1)I've always seen how well behaved and mature she is.
2) Silent Dawn is a very helpful person as well she speaks English and Portuguese which will come in handy.
3) My 3rd reason is that she is a long time player.

Silent Dawn and her other characters are always a pleasure to play alongside with. Knowledgeable and good to others, helpful and handles trolls well. I'd be very happy to have her as a GM.
