Warriors turning into Fallens

If a warrior (*) dies in the graveyard and stays dead for a certain amount of time, a new fallen will be spawned where his body is. The fallen is a real one (can't be controlled by the user) except showing public chat messages if the user types in. The user cannot be respawned until the fallen is dead, or the user logs out (which kills the fallen).
I think this is fun, but is it technically possible? I think this only requires server side changes. Some other things (like hiding the user body, or showing the user name as the fallen name..) may require client side changes.
(*) any characters that wear warrior helmet and plate.

No chance.

What o11c wants to say, is that it might be technically possible, but it would require immense programming effort which stands in no relation to the expected improvement of the general game experience.

I had this conversation many times and thought it would be cool if a spawn occured at a character death, however impeding a character from respawning could be a very bad idea. All I had meant was that if a zombie in RL kills you (lol), you turn into a zombie.... well... unless they eat your brains that is. It sort of makes sense to spawn an undead of some sort at a death.... probably pretty easy too... as long as the character can still respawn again. Of course, the reason I never mentioned it is because I do not know how to code it and it has been made apparent many times now that no one should bother to give feedback unless they can submit the relevant code changes. I have the feeling pclouds is about to hear something similar.

That's not entirely true, though we do have little free time and would always prefer code.
The real problem is that most people who submit ideas don't have any concept of how much work it would be to implement.
