when i woke up this morning, my inventory was full of pants and there was a pinkie sitting on my head.
what do?

Blue arrows are way points. They are a Manaplus feature which are set when you press Num keypad [5] by default. Then you can use them to go to the waypoint with a single click on the corresponding entry in "nav" tab of the social window. Right click of the entry allows you to rename them.
It is useful to mark, for example, ambush locations in the raging skill wolverns hunt subquest, or in the Nlue Sage slime hunt one.
Also, if you sit while pressing Num keypad [5], you set the default home tile in the map. You can then go tho this tile by pressing the "home" shortcut key ( "d" by default) or clicking "home" in "nav" tab of the social window.
