[FIXED] Linux (2.6): high cpu-usage

Post by Seelenfeuer » 11 Aug 2006, 16:58

Hi!

On my gentoo-linux box tmw uses between 10 and 50 % of the cpu which it didnt in prior versions (=0.0.19).

System: Gentoo Linux with 2.6.16 Kernel with gentoo-patchset
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 (32bit) 2,4GHz with HT
Memory: 1024mb DDR
Custom CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS: -march=pentium4 -O2 -pipe -fforce-addr -falign-functions=4 -fprefetch-loop-arrays
Custom LDFLAGS: -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--sort-common -s

Traces, logs, etc can be posted on request, dont wanna flood the forum with useless information...

Regards
