Of course it is not a suprise, a was aware since the very beggining of that putsch, that "TMWC" is just a smoke courtain for o11c power crave.
Also, o11c, is that your new strategy to lock all the posting of the people who are trying to tell you who is the real TMW admin?
You are not a material to be an admin, even Bjorn agrees about that, now you provide more and more evidence.
Regards.

Of course. You do not work 1/5 of your life on some project to just let it being taken over by the evil, powerhungry people, who couldn't act decently and create a fork if they didn't like current management.
Regards.

I just don't understand the target of these "discussions".
Nothing's going to change anyway about this issue.
Only target I can imagine is provocation and hurting TMWs image.
Note: This is a totally neutral opinion.
Anyway, the circle is round.

Well, not TMW image but so called "TMWC" image. TMW as you knew it is running at
http://www.themanaworld.net and is perfectly safe there.
I think the players should be fully aware of what is going on the project.
Regards.

Do you realize that you've just stated, in plain text, that your sole mission here is to willingly hurt the public image of a group of people in charge of this forum, and you're basically as fair of a game to ban right now as any spammer ?

I would say, TMW is where the players are:
http://server.themanaworld.org/online.html
http://server.themanaworld.net/online.html
When you want people to play on your server, why don't you assemble a new team and get players through high-quality content, good support and a fair GM team instead of mud-flinging?

It will be nice and following the moderation rules if everybody could stay on topic
, does 011C is now making the rules ?

To set this quote into the proper context, here is the rule as announced by prsm and the full quote by o11c:
prsm wrote:Impersonating a GM, Dev, or Admin is considered an offense, and will be dealt with accordingly. First time offenders will have the alt permanently banned and the main will receive a 30 day ban, second offense will be a permanent ban of both.
o11c wrote:I have extended this rule to a case where on IRC where someone claimed to be the server owner.
I do not believe that joking is allowed in this context, or that warnings are required.
He should have said "applied" not "extended" in this case.
It was never specified where this rule applies (ingame, forum, IRC, wiki or wherever) so I wouldn't say that he "made" any new rule. Also, IRC is a context where a moderator can't have long discussions with the others to decide what's the right course of action but has to act immediately.

How many times is this hornet's nest going to get poked? You aren't doing anything to help your image in any player's eyes Platnya. Quit complaining because someone took your toy away.
TMWC seems to be doing a good job running the game. Why can't you just sit back and watch the show? The remote control is in someone's else hands. If one of them wants to make a valid tweak to a rule and comes to the forums to show it to everyone, that's fine by me. At least it's being said to the community. How else do you expect them to be able to make rule changes? Would you have liked it better if o11c had used the word 'we' rather than I? Are you going to nit pick everything from now on?

The rule says "first offense ... then second offense ...." and
"i do not believe that warnings are required" i call that twisting
the rules not making them but bending them to the point that
you might need to rewrite it.
"i extended..." and "i do not..." seems to me that it's the point
of view of a single person not a "comittee".
So, is there a ban on sight on irc channels and a progressive
sanction in game ?

There is a time for warning and a time for action. There are many times where a GM has been forced to act without going through the steps. It happens.

I understand that a gm has to act quickly, but here we are talking
about somone, o11c, that is not a gm unless i missed something.
I doubt he will ever pass a gm pool.
That is the other part of this topic, can a developer, a coder act like
an "elected" gm ? Not to remind that that is the problem, anybody
with some work can be developer even just be reediting rewriting
the work of other, being a gm is still a little harder and out of reach
from the power angry people that impersonate gm.

This was on IRC, not ingame. GMs are elected for ingame moderation, not for IRC.
