First, Hi all.

Now to my problem. I own a slow connection (its a dial -up). So sometimes when the client updates it failed always. So I quickly rushed to support IRC and a nice guy told me to download the required file (the files listed in resource.xml) from tmwdata.org/updates. So I downloaded each file listed in resource.xml and put into the required path. But when I start the client it downloads a file named tiles-0938aa1.zip seems to download again. So I though maybe the file is corrupt so I again downloaded the file and put it the required folder. But guess what? It didn't work! And now as the updating is failed when I launch the client and log in, the whole graphics looks weird. See the screenshot. What should I do?

If it was you, who using Windows 8,

You should put all zips in C:\Users\YOUNAME\AppData\Local\Mana\updates\tmwdata.org
where is YOUNAME if your name in system
for example: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Mana\updates\tmwdata.org
Also if you have windows in other drive, replace C to other letter.

yeah it was me.

Now as I told told in my post I already put the files in the required folder (the path that you mentioned). But i don;t know why the client *only* download the file tiles-0938aa1.zip again. I downloaded the file tiles-0938aa1.zip thrice and still the client download it.

Can you say size for file tiles-0938aa1.zip after you downloaded it?
also try open it with any archive manager, is it works?

Yeah I can open the archive and can also extract with no errors.

File size - 6.93 MB.

Correct size must be 7267482

Can you say size in bytes?

Size : 7,267,482 bytes
Size on Disk : 7,270,400 bytes

EDIT : DONE. Problem solved. Thanks to 4144!
