SSL Certificate

The Mana World websites now have an SSL certificate. Having an SSL certificate allows us to encrypt the connection between you and the web server when you access it, so no one can 'eavesdrop' on it. It's a common practice and you've most likely seen it on various sites already.
When you access TMW's site, Wiki or the Forums, you'll notice that the address bar now says https instead of http. Most browsers will also display a padlock icon next to the URL. This means you are on an encrypted connection (secure as some browsers call it).
There's an important thing to note about this, especially in regards to the forums. Since users are allowed to embed images from external sources into their posts, very often, those images are served from a non-encrypted source (url starts with http instead of https and your browser might complain about that. This is normal, and you don't have to worry about it. The connection isn't any less secure, you are just presented with content which hasn't been transferred over the encrypted connection. That warning is usually just a slight change to the icon in the url bar of your browser, but some browsers might react more noisily to this. Don't worry about that and ignore any warnings.
As long as the URL says https://forums.themanaworld.org, you're alright.
Finally, you don't have to update your bookmarks, the server will automatically redirect you to the https site.
