The idea to assign different number of points to some monsters and to count them at the end is interesting, that could be something good to know for a weekend event.

It may not be a good idea for this poor Confused Tree though... I feel sorry for him every time I see him down.
Maybee it should be in an other place, as a building...

Isn't this like Candor but with points instead of deaths? Why not add a point system to Candor?

In FFIX you aren't teamed up with the other paticipating to the event. Moreover, some special places sometimes contains a special monster giving way more points that the others.
However, if everyone fights for his own, it will only be valuable for greatest or highest leveled players. Imo, there should be a different challenge with different monsters for each range of levels... Or maybe that the points you get from a given monster could change with your level ?

Please stop creating new threads, one is enough.
Ideas are cheap. The limiting factor is what we have time to implement.

In general, when you really want something to happen here, do it yourself.
Everything is open source, so all you have to do is set up your own local server and get to work.

Your ideas are *not* cheap. But realistically if you want to see your idea in the game sooner than it would go into game (if at all) its faster if you learn yourself.
Developers have a lot of projects going on at the moment to finish and be worked on.. besides we always need new developers! Maybe it can be a chance of working with the team and can offer a growing experience in open source knowledge

Chicka
