TMW Road Trip Round 2

For those lucky few of you in the Midwest / Milwaukee, Wi area. I'm happy to announce, TMW will be making an appearance at http://www.midwestgamingclassic.com/
I bought us a both and will be setting a table with demo accounts on the testing server.

Sad news though, I have 2 all-access vendor badges but only 1 person helping me on Friday night.
If you are a reliable people person in the Midwest US area and would like to help out On Saturday or Sunday You get the badge which grants you access to all the events and I'd only ask you sit at the table and help get people set-up with manaplus and going in game. (If you don't mind sleeping on an air mattress and eating what we cook food and shelter can be provided.)

Also for those who can't make the trip but want to help, mind you this will flood the starting area so in-game escorting would be much appreciated.

If anyone is interested in making Banners or informational pamphlets for TMW or Evol or LoF I'd be happy to use and hand out such materials.

I look forward to meeting any of those that can make it also. Come meet Wushin, IN PERSON! I'll be the guy in the funny hat.

Events like these are how we can attract a lot of curious folks to help build this little dream of ours. I applaud this kind of involvement, we really need to coordinate booths like this in our areas as well. As you're gathering your resources, please post lots of photos sir!

I'm going to try and catalog as much as possible. So yea, video & images if possible. I might also give a talk while as they may need speakers. I figure I can talk about what it's like to herd a group of eccentric cats.

We've recently acquired a table for free at a local convetion in Milwaukee, Wi. Midwest Gaming Classic; has given a table to me to run for Open Source Games & Development on April 11th & 12th, 2015 Saturday 10am - 8pm & Sunday 10am - 5pm. I want to show off the resources and games we all use. Anyone is welcome to submit information to us to disseminate information about the projects. You will easily reach a hardcore audience of game deisgners as the convention is geared towards indie games, modding and even custom built pinball machines. In addition, those not makers are some of the most harcore video gamers around.

If you would like to have your project participate with us, I need the following information sent to me via :

Game Submissions

Project Name: <Name Of Your Project>

Game Type: Rpg, RTS, FPS, etc.

Website: <Website of your project>

Offline # of Players per game: Some numeric value of the number of players able to play in a single instance. If your game allows online play please note that with a + after the number. So solo story mode with oline play would be 1+ and Spilt screen 4 player co-op with online play would be 1-4+

Short description: 255 character description of the Project.

Screenshots/videos: Link to screenshots or Videos

Streamers

Stream: Link to stream & availability during the convention times. Once again those dates and times are April 11th & 12th, 2015 Saturday 10am - 8pm & Sunday 10am - 5pm CST.

Any Projects or players who would like to develop or play Open Source Games live during the convention are welcome to submit streams. This includes anything from code to art to mapping or any sort of live gameplay of Open Source Games

Convention Volunteers

In addition if you can physically be at the convention and are willing to help run the booth, you can take center stage for a while. Think of this as an Open Source Booth subject to Open Source guidelines, i.e. All of us pitching all what we like is inevitably better than one of us. We already have 3 people but we also want to explore as well.

All you need to do is purchase a ticket (only the booth was given free) to the event and let me know what day you can work and then just show up.

Contact Wushin

Preferred method of contact is via my email pasekei@gmail.com, but you are welcome to message me via the forums.
