So, for transparencies sake:

I've been suggested to become a Admin, where my role is to assist the gm-team and also be the one responsible for account resets etc.

I want to inform the player base and give you guys the opportunity to oppose this.

From my perspective the things you should know is that I will, if i become an admin, have access to some information that might be considered as "private" information, such as real ip you are playing from etc. Do you trust me with that kind of information, if not - why?

On the other hand, the good things with this is that the admins we have in the project right now needs to push on with things that are important for the game, such as developing content (wushin is content lead) and keep developing tmwa (this is where o11c rather put his effort).

I will still be a GM, i will just have some more tools at my disposal to assist the gm team with investigations, password resets etc. Since I am speaking with the gm's on a regular basis I and from what has been said by the rest of tmwc we think that it will make the whole GM-Admin thing more smooth, and everyone can concentrate more on their task, driving the project forward.

If you have any objections, please post them here. If you don't feel easy with being open with any objections, please send a PM to one of the admins stating why you wouldn't like me to become an Admin.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here and I will try and answer to the best of my knowledge.

I feel veryape is authentically trustworthy. More importantly, and I can say this with experience, he will be unbiased in managing of information without sharing with friends and previous or current party members. My own background in medical where HIPPA is a big deal I understand the need for maintaining privacy for individual's information and I can say, without bias, veryape will absolutely be discrete about any of your private information of which he is required to view and/or manage as an administrator. I would be happy to know the other devs could be freed up with more time to develop the content which we all enjoy so much if veryape were to alleviate some of the other administrative responsibilities.

Thanks to the development team, as well as the GM team for maintaining & expanding an endearing and fun game for all of us.

I support this, since I trust him, it could help him with his GM responsibilities, and the really sensitive data, chat, wouldn't even be available to him, since the server doesn't log it, as far as I am aware.

As TMW's un-official security person I have no problem with veryape having admin access. I like the guy and think he's trustworthy.

Something to note is that he's been running an authorized proxy server for several months now. This means that some TMW players are voluntarily connecting to a machine under his control, which then connects to the real TMW server. If he wanted to he could grab these players passwords, sniff their chat, etc. He's shown no sign of abusing this potential ability in any way, and was willing to work with me to ensure the proxy was configured securely as possible.
