This years Christmas event from the Gm's will be a tad different than our normal events. Each Gm will create an alt, named with a Christmas theme. When they are in the game they will hide somewhere. If you find them you will get a pick on GM Santa. Gm Santa will have all 100 slots filled, but will only contain 5 ultra rares (Eye patch, Scarab, Funky hat, you get the idea). The other 95 slots will contain good stuff, but it wont be rare.

Event will start on Dec 1, and be subject to Gm availability.

the basic rules.
1) Only 1 pick per person on GM Santa, not per alt (and we will be checking)
2) No Gm can fill more than 3 slots per day
3) Once the GM is found, he must move to a new hiding spot before he can be found again, so if your unlucky enough to find him after he has been found, you will have to find him again.
4) All prizes will be passed out starting on Dec 31, or per Gm Availability.
5) we will send a picture of GM Santa's storage to MadCamel before the event starts to keep it all honest
6) we will also be adding a twist at the end, to keep it all fair
7) the event ends when all 100 slots have been picked or on Dec 31, what ever comes first.

How the item will be chosen?
Random number between 1-100?

when you find the hidden Christmas gm, you pick a number between 1-100, if that number is free you get the item associated with it. If the number is already picked, you continue to pick a number till you find a number that is free.

Please note, you don't get the item, or find out what it is till the event ends.

Ok it's a nice way to do it, this way people won't stop searching because all the ultra rare have already been chosen.

Is there a hint to find the gm?
some restricted mapp to look for the gm?
how to say i have found the gm? private msg or in the general tab?
because if the gm is afk when we find him, and someone else find him.

There may be hints some days, other days maybe not.
There are no restricted maps, there are maps that are harder for low level players, I will try and stay away from these. Say the GM's name in general chat and he will respond. You do understand that the GM's you will be finding will be "Christmas themed" GMs, not our normal alts. For this reason I doubt they will be afk.

I have been asked a few times what the twist will be.
At the end of the event i will be asking two random people to pick a number between 0 -10,
I will than add the numbers together, and add it to the number that everyone has picked.

For example: if the first person picks 7 and the second person picks 5, 7+5=12
if you picked 20, i will add 12 so, 20+12=32
so you will get the item in 32 for this example and not 20.

Why are we doing this, because in the past people complain that we set the events up to let our friends
win. This could not be further from the truth, and by adding a random factor at the end we hope to
stop the doubters.

It would be nice to have the gm report here when they do a event and who won.

Today Ginaria do one event the morning and Badsinger won.
And another the afternoon and Regulus won.

From the moment the reward will be given the 31 dec, can you put here the track of the GM christmas event?
