Release v2015.1.26 [TEST]

We need help testing the next release! Tentative release date is 2015.1.26
  • New Art in Kaizei (Nivalis)
  • Typos in Ragged Shorts and Xmas Inn
  • Explanations given in Candor
  • Candor annoucements fixed
  • Bandit Cave Warp fixes
  • Illia needs to be tested all the way through
  • Descriptions added to skill windows

Regarding the new art, we are looking for these red "Some Thing" tiles or other misc glitches; if you see any, please open the "Debug" window and tell us the map and x,y of the tile.

All checked, except for Candor announcements and Illia since it requires more players. Everything is fine.

Just walked through all these maps right now, no problematic tiles found. :alt-3:

Map 20-1 , xmas inn warp is in (33, 93) i think should be in (33, 94)

New commits have been added and need to be tested.

What needs testing before the release:
  • test Pauline (in the Tulimshar castle)
  • Make sure Lora Tay works as usual (trimming, lengthening, ...) set state to 23 to avoid doing the quest
  • Make sure Selim works as usual (clothes dying)
  • test Orum torch cave @warp 009-4 37 118 (set state to 0 if already started)
  • Candor announcements
the other changes are purely cosmetic and do not require testing

Everything is ok but Orum's cave may get a note. It still disconnects you when you pass too fast by it that you go through the message. If you stop after getting the message it's just alright. Is there some manner to make char stuck when getting the message?

Sure! Now the good thing and the bad thing:

Good thing: it doesn't disconnect when you pass by the message anymore.

Bad thing: I can pass through them so I suppose I have OrumQuest > 11 (I miss a debug here), but if I'm 11 I shouldn't see the barrier messages anymore, right? So I see it on the east barrier. South barrier is doing fine.

I just tested everything on the latest list and did not encounter any bugs. I also did not notice any typos but don't place too much weight on it as I am not the best proofreader.

I've just thought of it right now but Candide could be scripted in the same fashion of this new Selim, it would be nice.

Meicchi, Selim is only a test at the moment, I am waiting to see if players find bugs or have suggestions before applying this system to other npcs

and for the orum debug, you must manually warp to it if your state >= 12
