I will be going to a convention in April to help represent TMW. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17973&p=141790

Since I have a 3D printer, I'd love to be able to hand out some Mouboo keychains! What's cuter and more eye-catching than a Mouboo? Sadly I do not have a 3D model I can use.. and my art skills are nonexistant. Help!

All I need is a standing Mouboo, looking kinda cute, in 3D source format(STL file preferred) Maybe put "www.themanaworld.org" in raised lettering on it's belly. I can do the rest to make it into a batch of physical objects. Any takers?

Meway, any chance you could make it a little rounder? The legs and back are quite square. At least, I think that's the problem. Something's off.

Quite a nice work. But in my mind it looks like a chocolate mouboo. Which is yummy.

Okay. I've printed it out and the legs/back do not look too bad. I'd say they are fine!

I've had some other issues though.

The ears need to be thicker and have a support structure underneath to attach them to the head. They come out much too thin and fragile and snap off easily.

The height of the snout needs to be reduced, there isn't enough room on the forehead for eyes. The bottom of the snout needs to have a slightly more gradual curve coming out from the neck. "Building Bridges" out from a vertical object at pure right angles is difficult for any 3d printer.

I've been trying to modify the model but I'm in way over my head with blender. I'm having a difficult enough time getting my printer properly calibrated after swapping some parts. This is all still new to me so any help is appreciated!

Sure. Here's the first prototype. I painted it grey(all I had around) and drew on some eyes.
