Standing at [012-1, coordinates: 132, 142], dropping any item (tried with cotton cloth and silk cocoon) makes it go hidden under the floor tile; but it may require some tries as item get dropped at random position, so keep picking it up and dropping it again.

I noticed this when hunting Mouboo, and it dropped a cotton cloth. Something wrong with the road, as same bug repeating at coordinates: 132, 133 on the same map.

That's because that map is very old and what should have been put on Ground2 has been put on Fringe because of technical limitations at the time. Of course we could fix this but instead of fixing old maps tile by tile I think it's better to fully re-make them (like what wushin did with tonori and candor). I have no idea if wushin has any plans for Argeas (woodland+hurnscald+swamp)
