New to the game

Im new to the game and I enjoy it allot but I have a few questions about it.
1. How many active players are they in the game? is it a very small game?
2. Is their somebody in-charged of Marketing the game? I came across by mistake as a linux user. their is no wikipedia page in English, no youtube trailer ("Battle for Wesnoth" has a good one), no Posters and no banners for forums.
3. why their is so many servers and forks to the game? dont we lose like that many players?
4. the wiki in https://www.themanaworld.org writes its not update but it sends me to 404 page. Is their a centrel place for the info on the project?
5. what is the difference between Mana and ManaPlus?

hi goat,
tmw is one of the very little foss (well I didnt come across another...) completely community driven mmorpg. You are correct, we do have some problems with marketing one reason for that surely is the amount of work that binds... Battle for Wesnoth is compared to us a Giant. Anyway community is small but dedicated, newlings are welcomed and gladly helped by everyone around, also human game masters typically hang around to prevent abuse and do events

What looks bad? Why does it look bad? How to make it better?
Don't get me wrong but just saying "it looks very bad" doesn't help at all, it just frustrates those who worked on it (speaking in generell).
IMO it looks quite decent which is also the feedback I received so far.

"might". Frankly speaking I don't know why this warning is shown here.
Any page in the whole wiki might become out of date once an update is brought to the game.

What looks bad? Why does it look bad? How to make it better?
Don't get me wrong but just saying "it looks very bad" doesn't help at all, it just frustrates those who worked on it (speaking in generell).
IMO it looks quite decent which is also the feedback I received so far.

The only difference I see is the text is overlayed on the action scenes instead of in between them.

Maybe some background information:
I was asked to create such a video for TMW after I uploaded some dev and gameplay videos on my own channel just for fun.
Since I always want to help our project I did so although I was and still am a total beginner when it's about video creation.
Sure I know how really great trailers look like but I neither have the equipment nor the skills to make a professional one.
This one served its purpose, looks quite decent (for a noob's work) and people liked it, so I'm totally fine with it.
Sure, if someone is able to make a better one (s)he is more than welcome to do so.

My ideas for creating a better P.R for the game:
1) making 3 trailers - a Classic trailer (will apper at the end of the post) , Honest Trailers style & community one (A video of complition people saying why the play the game)
2) Rewrite the wikipedia page that is in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mana_World (and not to do what is written in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia: ... Mana_World )
3) Create a Fake Cd cover for the game just like: http://pic.imghost.pro/big/2015/0319/94 ... b199cb.jpg
4) Create 10 simple userbar banner of the game so people in other forums will know you play the game
5) Write articles for gamers magazines and blogs and push the game into ranking competitions

He probably just wanted Playstation or Xbox level graphics. Don't take it to heart. I'm new to the game and I think it looks interesting. But I've always been more story centred anyway.
