Long-stanging graphic bug (casting ingrav&flar spell)

There is long-standing and silly bug:

When mage casts ingrav or flar spell, animation shown to caster himself is shown in really stupid way: like if caster was about to shoot bow, while lacking actual bow in hands. Needless to say it looks stupid/bugged (see screenshot attached). As far as I understand, issue limits to caster only and everyone else sees more adequate attack animation.

Somehow I noticed #confringo spell lacks this issue and provides more consistent attack appearance for caster. Is it client bug? TMW data or scripts bug? Or what?

Most likely a client bug. Maybe DEVS did that on purpose?

I think its just the sprite for ranged attack.

magic-v2 is just utterly bugged, we intend to fix all that in magic-v3

Yeah, I got idea of scale of upcoming changes. So it seems this bug has been reported early and better to be "deferred" at the moment.

Player Spritesheet 1.5 also has an action called "cast":

(looks like a group of autistics clapping  )
I think it's great these animations already exist and we should use them more often, but it was never used by any spell since it was added. Same happens with other player actions that already have a drawed animation like the new weapon attacks (attack_spear, attack_chop), but never used ingame.
