As per the recent amendment to the TMWC charter. viewtopic.php?p=150826#p150826

TMW is holding Nominations for the Board of Directors. There are currently 4 spots.

You can nominate people or yourself by posting on this thread "I nominate myself or <who ever>"

If not yourself the person nominated by someone else has to accept.

Who can be nominated:

• Members of TMWC (including advisers) can run for a position on the board.
• Members can nominate themselves or accept someone else nominating them

Whats required of a board member?

• Meet at least Quarterly (once every 4 months)
• Duties vary on board position (see above link)

Sorry, it took me a while to read and understand what this is about and I think it's a good and necessary idea.
Also I think I can be indeed helpful since my strenght when developing has always been organization and communication.

Since we have 5 people. Thread will close and voting will start on Feb 2nd.

Less than one week until elections will begin.

Candidates please prepare a short post on the election thread why you should be elected.

Jenalya pointed out to me Matt isn't an Advisor, which I had always thought they were.

In such case we have only 4 valid candidates. Thus by default.

Cassy, Prsm, veryape and Wushin are our new board. Congrats! You all stepped forward.
