Hello, i can`t connect with manaplus 1.6.9.10, but can with older 1.6.3.26 version.

Edit: Forgot to add it is Linux client.

Into what server you want connect?
What you mean you cant connect? It shop error or something else?

I try connect to server.manaworld.org, get "connecting to server" and nothing far from this point.
Tried connect to world.evolonline.org and get "cannot resolve host" error.

I was use 1.6.5.7 manaplus version before, but today i have connection error, so i decide to upgrade client. I install 1.6.9.10, and still get errors like i wrote. After that i take a chance to my oldest version what i have (1.6.3.26) and its work fine.

This errors mean something wrong with your network.
What linux distributive you using and how you install manaplus?

My distro are Debian 8 Jessie.
Manaplus versions that not work are installed from http://download.evolonline.org/manaplus ... ux.tar.bz2, just unpacked to home dir.
Working version of manaplus (1.6.3.26) are compiled by myself, packed with checkinstall, and installed systemwide.

Now i am compiled 1.6.9.10 from source and its work.
However, binary package from http://download.evolonline.org/manaplus ... ux.tar.bz2 still not connecting.

If you using debian, why not add repository with up to date packages?

I am not use this repo because staying on latest version not always better to use little outdated.
Btw, now i don`t see animation effect from healing items (1.6.9.10), they work, but no bubbles ( or aura, or what is it) around char.
I will sit on my older build little more.
