I apologize if this is a repeat question but I searched and didn't find a clear answer.

Which server should I be connecting to?

I read that evol / tmw had merged but I still see the two as separate servers.

I recently discovered both / either? through the Chrome Web Store while I was messing around with a Raspberry Pi Zero W I had just purchased. ManaPlus comes up as one of the selections when you choose 'Games'. It piqued my interest as it mentioned 2D MMORPG and I was hoping to be able to play on the Pi Zero. Alas I do not think the Pi Zero W is capable of running ManaPlus. So my second question if anyone knows is if the Pi 3 can run ManaPlus? Or if the Pi Zero W can and I've just fudged something.

no idea about the raspberry pi.

ManaPlus = game client, used to connect to any server

The Mana World = the Legacy server, will no longer receive any new content

Evol Online = the beta version of the new server, which should receive an update soon and be renamed

The Mana World Test Server = the alpha version of the Evol server, where we test all our stuff. don't use this server for regular gameplay, your data may be altered/deleted at any time without prior notice on this server

TMW-UFB Preview = a technical demo of The Mana World UFB (an old, outdated fork of Legacy) ported from the TMWAthena engine to the Hercules engine

Hercules preview server = a server to test cutting-edge manaplus features


all other servers are not controlled/maintained by The Mana World

So I select 'Evol Online' and I get the message 'Unregistered ID. Do you want to open support page?' which then takes me to www.evolonline.org/chat which loads to a white / blank screen. How do you get registered for that server?

for the Evol server you register directly in the client, not on the website

Dekkir, i think manaplus should works on all pi devices. But on low versions it can be too slow.
For pi devics, because they arm based, need compile manaplus from sources.

I really think by now you should play The Mana World server, by now is the one with more content and where most of the player base is!
