There was a fly on my keyboard, and I just squashed it with a fly-swatter, with absolutely no regard for its feelings, its life journey, or the meaning of its existence. It was in my way, in my face, and now it's dead. Does that make me a bad person?

EDIT: Holy Heck! After a moment, its squashed up body began to lurch around on what few legs it had left. Eventually, it wound up upsidedown, with its legs flailing in the air. So I took a paper towel, gently picked it up, and crushed it, so now it is definitely completely dead. It is put out of its misery, and out of mine.

LOL Gumi! I seriously did consider using my tablet to photograph it, as it lay dying on my notebook's touchpad. (I don't have a smartphone.) But it just seemed too morbid, even for me. It was just a standard, all black, small-to-medium sized housefly. Some are all shiny, but there was nothing special or flashy about this one. And now he is no more.

LOLOLOLOLOL :D

One day, who knows, any of us may have to resort to eating flies, in order to survive. Thankfully, today is not that day.

Insects are the source of protein of the future, easily farmed in large quantities and less prone to suffering than cows or pigs.

Just like Ribwich from The Simpsons ... "Think smaller and more legs"

The lobster is just a giant water bug. I'll stick with that. Or shrimps with zucchini noodles ... yummmmm :D
