Nice work, I especially like the flower. I'm gonna put this in Dev Academy to give the graphic developers a chance to give all the usual advice like shading and lighting standards. Keep this up, this forum is where great devs are made! :D

I really like these! I especially like the flower, lemon and pizza. I do suggest to focus on one of the icons /a few icons before drawing more though.

The line art / shape of the icons is excellent. You immediately see what the icon is, without giving to much or to few details (which is exactly what an icon should be doing). One of the things I do notice is that compared to the icon style we use in the game, the outline is sometimes to 'thick'.

A better explanation would be this:
Image.

Here I edited your pizza (and enlarged it for you, so it is easier to spot the differences):

Another thing is the shading and color. In my opinion this is one of the hardest part of drawing. And the part I struggle with it myself. Shading means to think where to put the shadows on it. If you do it correctly the icon will feel that it has more 'depth' to it. And adding 'depth' to things always makes things more interesting to look at. So if you can add more 'depth' to it, then do it (no matter what you are drawing, whether these are icons, or a boring flat wall  )! With the lemon and the gold potion I see you already added the highlights, which looks oke, so these just need the shadows.

It's not easy to explain what parts should be darker or lighter, it is something you must get a feeling for by looking at pictures, and other art:

Here you can see which part of a circle should be darker and lighter to create a sphere:

Since the lemon and the gold potion, are almost sphere like, you may want to try to add the shadows to it yourself.

Hope this helps, and keep up the good work :D

Easter egg! I like the first Egg of Confusion though. It should confuse better!

I wonder if these are too big? Maybe you could use them as giant decos! And we could take a munch out of a giant Easter egg! Maybe it would effect us too! (Egg of Confusion :alt-6: )

Yep. The Milk Chocolate Egg of Celestial is tribute to Celestial and her tea. :alt-3:

I think EJ said it all as always. I can help you with choosing items that can easily make it into the game if you want to focus on improving something specific. I'd say we don't have a lemon or a pizza slice and foods are always easy to add and the more we have the better.

The fire pot on a stick is an amazing concept. Weapons are harder to make than single icons because they require an entire spritesheet to animate their movement, but if you're up to taking that on it would be an awesome weapon. The stick itself we already have so the pot is really the only part that needs to be improved and drawn in the various positions.

Lol I think the iron pot would look the same no matter the angle. Maybe the little dot on the flame might switch places. XD I don't see how else it might be different.

Anyhow, I borrowed a tileset from the Graphics section. viewtopic.php?f=36&t=20409 I thought I'd add some gems! I got in most of the purple ones and I turned the mud to grey stone.

Oh yeah and feel free to edit the pics if you like I guess.

Finished adding all the purple stones. :alt-3:

Made a fireball for the Little Cauldron of Fire weapon. Also, GOLD!

The idea is you just swing the stick or (for the handle version) the cauldron, or just the hands over it and a fireball pops out and smites the enemy. I don't know where to find mana world's artwork. Hehe

Maybe you could just knock on the cauldron for fireballs.

P.S.: I used the piskelapp to change pixels of the same colour, just in case anyone wants to have different gems.
