Cauldron of Fireballs (weapon)

So this is the cauldron of fireballs.

I know the staff and handle ones could use sprites but I'm still searching for the animations lol.

There is a question of shading for the cauldron, but I'm a bit lost as to how to add that for the original one so I added an alternate version of the cauldron.

Every frame is 64×64, by the way. On GIMP, use "View > Show Grid" and then "Image > Configure Grid" to make sure you don't draw above different frames.

You'll quickly notice this example file (chopstick.png) is not meant to have animations while sitted, for example. This is not a hard rule, it's just the default.

You can find it and other images for base in Gitlab.

For player sprites, you can take a look at Gitlab too and even draw in a layer above them, if you so wish.

Eh, I can only talk about how the XML files work, don't expect input from me about how colors aren't right, for example

You might want to use the same colors or at least the same pallete as this icon above to increase chances of (a faster) approval

You can also use tilesets to make it easier. For example, you can find a pot here:

By using the pot as a reference, it is easier to get the correct perspective for the cauldron. At the moment it is too much sideways

Er, which side though? hehe You mean the lights on the wrong side? No that can't be it. Do you mean it isn't tilted more to the front?

Also thanks for all the stick sprites!

But what do I do first? Add which form of cauldron? Maybe make it a Glass pot so you can see the fire? Pitch black cauldron does sound cool though?
Maybe make it a kind of fire orb and solve all the perspective things? But then I'd need to get down glass shading...

(You know; for the orb.)

Hmm also (mentioned this elsewhere) if you like it could be held in the hand and then casted from, if you get what I mean. Though I wonder if there are sprites for that.

If you want me to pick which cauldron or stuff, I still need to know what's up with the perspective (I didn't understand really

) and other tweaks you really still need done? I'm only going to do the one picture down here because when you swing the stick the pot's going to move too. So tell me more so I can stick a final product there.

Edit: Well I figure maybe this could be used as a stove too, so here's one with meat being barbecued
