I recently came up with the idea of a repeatable escort-type quest. You'd gain access to this quest after you complete the Bone Knife quest. What you'd do is talk to an NPC in Tulimshar (probably called the Caravan Leader ) who would ask you, and any companions you might have, to escort a caravan through the desert. Along the way, bandits and other monsters would spawn. Your team would have to prevent them from 'destroying' the caravan. Eventually, one of Khfar's Great Worms would appear. Your team would then try to repel the worm. Assuming you don't die, the Great Worm would swallow the caravan and escape into one of its tunnels. You would then follow it and attempt to defeat it and save the caravan. If you survived, you'd gain some reward, probably in the form of GP or XP, from the Caravan Leader.

How could I go about developing this quest on a local test server?

I think you'd need a caravan graphic first.

Apart from that I can't say what you'd need for the quest creation. I'm looking for how to myself.

Edit: I added a caravan. It's far from what devs would accept but I thought it would cheer you up.

Also about the quest, you see I was hoping to add a bounty board in Diamond Inn viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20179 so maybe you would agree to add this quest as a bounty quest to pin on a would-be bounty board? Eh? eh?

Thanks for the info, I'll see what I can do for the script. The bounty quest is interesting. This could work for that.
