Hi!

I'm asking you if it's possible to add a feature that reduces down the FPS while AFK, unfocusing window or sitting idle for more than one minute. This would be nice for those who have a old PC or for those who use the client just for chat without wasting too much energy in heat.

I have to minimize client window on my N145P while opening browser to avoid system to hang.

em, actually it already exists.
See alt fps in video tab. But it works if client really on background/non focused. This works with not all DE/WM but it works
Afk also is enabled afk mode.

From i remember how it works. First in non focused manaplus and other on enabled afk mode. You can combine both for better results

In my case, under XFCE4, works only if minimized and unfocused only while in AFK mode.
However there's no cutoff if you are sitting down idle or just chatting for more than a minute.
Thanks for your reply. I thought that ALT FPS was enabled in case CPU load was very high.
