Are you still making the kilt?
Anyway, I have created a rough scratch of the kilt:
It looks kind of strange animated.

I think the strangeness you are referring to is that with its free-flowing movement, it appears to be made of silk or linen, as opposed to heavy wool. Maybe fewer frames and less range of movement?
Miss ya Saphy!!

It looks great. It's just not a kilt but a skirt I'm sure our female characters would love to wear.
The first frame of the player sprite sheet it the idle frame btw, it isn't used in the walking animation.

I'm really feeling bad for not finishing the kilt, there is numerous reason's for that that I will not go into.
I have started up Gimp and will finish that kilt ASAP.

Hm, I'm trying to look at my work so far ingame and what I'm doing is replacing the jeans sprites with the kilt but yet my character has the jeans ingame. That makes me angry, guess it has something to do with the .tmw folder.

Make a zip file called whatever you like with the folder structure like
The Mana Worlds folder structure.
So make a folder called graphics and inside that sprites and then place your kilt in it (with the name of the jeans).
and then zip the graphics folder up and place the zip inside your customdata folder.
