If you want detailed and accurate statistics, it would make more sense to parse the character data file on the server instead. But I guess you already thought about that.

I did, but since we already reset old characters from time to time, I prefer input of active players.

As usual, I was having thoughts about this game while waiting to fall asleep last night. Is there an active discussion of the economic system going on, or is it not a high enough priority right now?

At the moment we are still far away from thinking about the economy system. But there are some articles on the wiki about it. Feel free to write your thoughts down there. So you make sure that they aren't forgot until the time has come when we need good ideas to create a well working economy system.
