On the test server, the xmas annual quest Orum's Homunculus is gone. No one is at its tile (030-3, coordinates: 100, 50). Not even Balthasar. How am i supposed to get the level up / experience reward? I'm on naughty path.

UPDATE 2021-12-27 01:30 UTC - Due to an exploit and abuse of it by some players, scripts have been disabled until further notice.
UPDATE 2021-12-27 14:30 UTC - GM Team will be responsible to deal with the exploited items in any way they deem fit (which may be collecting them, or merely ignoring the issue altogether; Less than 200 items of a bit under 30 distinct IDs were created illegally; There are more Eye Patches than this)
UPDATE 2021-12-30 10:00 UTC - The script is back, you can receive experience, carrots and purchases again.

first and foremost, i make mistakes all the time! I am far from being perfect
but when i do screw up, I try and learn from it.

I have talked to a few players (who will remain nameless) being accused of this exploit.
Seems the exploit was a programming glitch! They did nothing wrong. I don't see how we
can ask for hats back!

We do have precedent in the game on this. The original programmers of the game
when they designed the casino set it up that you could buy casino coins for 5 gp and
sell them for 10 gp. It didn't take long for some players to take advantage of this.
It was decided, at that time to correct the "glitch" and leave the players alone.

That was done here and I have to agree with that. It was no ones fault, nor did anyone truly exploit anything.

Just a silly little accident, that will self correct over time, like it always does!

Can I also suggest if someone comes to report glitch, they should have all things retained if it haven't been rampant abuse and/or (even better) get some special item(s)? Like a "bug bounty program" or so. If it isn't case, guess, devs would be last to learn about advantageous bugs for the time being. Just because reporting them could be unrewarding/punitive and fails to encourage this activity. This said, should there be serious misuse of bugs and apparent ill intent, it have to be dealt with.

p.s. am I correct event got aborted like even before jan 1? Thing is: some ppl or even nations don't celebrate (catholic) xmas - and it could be more like "new year" celebration instead. There's also some shifted version of xmas at Jan, likely due to Julian vs Gregorian calendars dfiference. TMWA annual quest coders apparently knew this ordeal, making whole thing "hybrid" that fits most kinds of things around this time, blends with all these themes and keeping it going past jan 1 for few more days also had extra point as ppl can be rather inactive or busy at exact dates due to local celebrations and all associated things around. But this event apparently had different idea and already stopped, eh? Some ppl admitted they barely made it, etc. Other than that it's been curious dive into new engine and what it can do.

p.p.s. I'm sorry not being here at most interesting times but somehow I had this time going unexpectedly busy this year and had to resort to "load dump" unfortunately... now things are calming down a bit, but I'm still quite busy. Guess I could've been more useful under TMWA-style event timings

I'm happy to announce GM and devs more or less converged on Xmas quest rewards, so you can have it. To get your reward, you have to bring your Legendary Carrot (Item Id 5279) to GM and exchange for rares.

Rares list for exchange includes: Earmuffs (Item ID 848), Groovy Hat (5226), Jazzy Hat (5227), Chic Santa Hat (5228), Moonshroom Hat (5203) or Guardian Wings (5252)
