Why did you have those herbs in shortcuts? Were they functioning as healing items in the distant past?

Dyes used to be very important back then, very profitable I mean. But no, I don't think they ever were healing items.

Dyes? From colours it looks like those were old images for alizarin, mauve, cobalt and gamboge herbs. Why would dyes be placed into shortcuts? Or was this just a way to track how many you've farmed without having to look at your whole inventory?

Pretty much that, and TMW-Br still uses these images for the herbs (this is why I recognized them instantly).

Half my shortcuts bar is also just to track how much stuff I have, although nowadays you can track arrow amount from HUD (near to XP bar), so less necessary.

Hmm, wonder how easy it would be to add menu entry "add progress bar" to each item in bank/inventory, and have it add a arrow-like progress bar on top of screen. And, also, to add an icon to each such bar (including arrow one)....

The old icons for the herbs are forever imprinted in my mind from the hours of farming them back in the day. So much mauve, so little cobalt...
