Problem starting up "The Mana World"...

I have download the client 0.0.8 and the cvs and did everything but I can't seem to get the client to start. I can only get to the point where it said Press Any Key To Start. Once I press enter it show me a quick black sceen and disappear. The client shut down like something has happen to it. My computer has Windows XP, if that helps. Thanks

I'm not using XP so I don't know if there is some sort of known bug/problem. You should jump on IRC and ask one of the guys if they know of any kind of problem with XP.
