it looks to me as though most of those would fit the art style of the mana world, but a few of them look as though the light source is coming from the wrong direction. the third item from the bottom looks as though the light source is coming from the north to north east, but TMW uses a light source from the southwest.

i rather like that first 5 helmets from top, issues with light source can be easily avoided by mirroring...sort of.. imho

I would reduce the contrast in a lot of those and some use too much gradient. But besides that they are quite adequate.
But what should they be good for? We already got a huge load of unused inventory icons for equipment. But we can't use them because we don't have the animated sprites for them.
Equipment icons without corresponding spritesets are worthless.
So when you want to do something productive, danielsums, you should create spritesets for the items. For the headgears this isn't really that hard because you only have to create 4 versions. A detailed description is on the wiki:

Shirts and pants are a lot harder because you have to deal with the animations.
For weapons besides daggers and bows we would need new playerset animations.
When this is too hard for you and you want to stick to inventory icons you cold create generic monster drops that could be dropped by the monsters that are currently ingame. These could be put into the game immediately.

Please don't feel discouraged. At least your inventory icons look like you could at least easily be able to create the spritesets for the headgear and with brief training (2 months or so) also for all the other items.
So, have fun with the pixels.

Crush, be nice.

Danielsums, there is a guide on this forum how to create head hear, for someone with graphics skills it is easy, maybe make us some nice hat or headband so we could see if you are able to create sprites.

Ok, write these helmet and armour on person first if you feel like that. But after this you will have to make a sheet of sprites without player sprite.
