Very nice, but i think the perspective is still off in the last two, or may be the shadows are too small, also the Arc needs some attention with the perspective

The result is awesome 8)

personally I don't see any problems with the perspective However, It would be nice if the columns lined up with the fixtures on the roof when we tile it
Now the greatest challenge with the snake is the light source, right now is from top and we need to change it to south west, also we need to give it some stone-like texture, do you think is possible ?
Anything is possible, i just need to find the time in which to do it :(

Saphy, I took your model and did an slight change in perspective and shadows ( just as proposal, not finished), I hope you don't mind

These are looking reasonably nice.

:| I think that one thing you could do to improve the look of these, considerably, would be to increase the gamut of shading you use. That is to say (in this case), make your darkest darks darker. In fact, make them closer to black.

I wouldn't mind of course. But the perspective isn't right. The farther the object, the smaller it should be, not the other way around. As of now, it seems as if it is tilting forward.

You probably want something like this instead:

It looks good, thank you Saphy, later I'm thinking in add the lion head to the arc, but now I'll concentrate on the floor, I've been trying to create a new floor texture but nothing yet, not even something to show

This is not related to your work, but the road looks just too clean and new in contrast to the old and broken columns. When the temple is that ruined I wouldn't expect the road that leads to it to be so clean. Especially not in the desert. When you want a road that leads to it then maybe you should create some road tiles that look more broken with some sand on them.

Also there shouldn't be a column in the middle of way to entrance, but some kind of road, usually the main way to the entrance in the temples is exposed.

yes I'll work with floors, roads and also I'll remove the columns from the middle way to the entrance and at last I want to use the shadow in the wall (I'm working on that now), windows and Saphy addition (heh, kind of two days of work) :wink:

What strikes my eye is the sharpness of the inner shadows compared to the column shadows falling outside.

Alright, still a lot of small details and two version in the floor but this is the second version of temple entrance

I have to fix a bit the shadow in the entrance (still not 100% convinced, because when you try to see an interior from sunny outside seems to be completely black, unlikely objects directly under the sun the shadows are fade out because the reflections) but I'll try to soft the shadow a bit.

EDIT: I forgot the snakes, I'll fix it later

You are sure it wasn't your mind playing tricks on you? Although the interior shadow doesn't have as much reflective light, it wouldn't differ that much.

For example, in this picture:

If it was viewed from the top at 45 degree, most of the dark area will not be visible.
