Logging out?

What's the proper way to log out?
How do we log in if we've logged out improperly (and we're still logged in?)

Just close the program. It takes a little while for the server to realize that you have done so, then you can log in again. It seems to take about 30 seconds for me.

turns out that i forgot to remove the _* (_F or _M) from the end of my login name in addition to the 30 second thing.
