when is the next update?

I've been wondering about this and asking my friend rtoot if he knew but he dosent. SO when you do make the new update please let us know wen you do. :mrgreen:

Short answer:

Long answer:
You can see the current status of the next update on the roadmap on the wiki:

As you can see there are a lot of undone tasks so the next version will still take a while. There is no way to even give an approximate estimation when it could come out. Especially considering that most programmers are currently focusing on the new client/server combination and the eAthena branch has a quite low priority.

When you can't wait for the next update you can still get the latest snapshot from the SVN repository and compile it yourself.


By the way: Instead of asking the dev team when they are finished you should consider asking yourself what you can do to help finishing it faster. Open source projects live from the participation of the community.
