Halloween Brainstorming Topic

As you know Halloween is a month and 1/2 away, so I think it would be a good idea to go ahead and start brainstorming.
Here are my ideas:
A GM event: I think this would be a very good (and quick) idea. At a certain time of day on Halloween or it's eve, GM NPCs can hand out items or we could take the runescape approach and make rare drops.
Drops/Items:
Skeleton suit
Candy
Halloween basket (shield)
Skull Hat
Bedsheet
Black Desert SandStorm: Perhaps the most difficult idea I have come up with, but the desert's sandstorm would be temporarily black, and a cult could be summoning an ancient monster in the spider lair underneath the mine. (That place looks like a dungeon anyways.
)
Items/Drops:
Desert Scythe
Jeweled Cane
Skull Hat
Bedsheet
Halloween Basket
candy (if your that one unlucky guy)

That would be pretty cool but don't you think it's a little much? My favorite would be the skeleton stuff so it will match my name (Grim Reaper).

Nice Ideas, but did you ever think about if the Items you suggested still exist (and the corresponding animation-sequences) ?

They don't exist yet- except for the desert scythe, which I believe is in the trunk folder- Anyways, the whole reason why this is a month and 1/2 in advance is so we have time to make graphics and everything else.

It's good to know that someone is preparing client to new halloween event.
Last year I made login wallpaper, maybe in this year we should make another one?

That dress she has on is really cool and needs to be added to the game(it would be fun to see if i can make that.)

With all this hard working in development i'd really like to see this year's
Halloween Version , the monsters will be the same or some skulls or something will be putted in?

We could also develop the event on IRC and/or the mailing list and not spoil the fun in advance for people.

hehe, didn't think about that.
Btw, where is the magical mailing list you speak of? And why am I the last to hear about it.
I think we should all use Aol Instant messenger. The chat room feature will work and it will keep people from joining at random to preserve it's 1337 uber secretness.
