Compiling Guide

I think that a lot of the players want to know how to compile the new server to see how it is coming along (including me). If one of the programmers or someone who has compiled it could write an at least somewhat detailed guide of how to compile would be greatly appreciated by many.

Just get the devpak and compile it with codeblocks.

Maybe I will write a fool-proof step-by-step compilation guide for windows users one day.

There isn't documentation shipped with the sources as there is with the client?

Documentation is being published to be useful, not to make the author famous. If something has no documentation then write the documentation, without making polls.
You may make a poll, if the people found your documentation useful. Linux kernel has 10 mb of documentation, in a source tree of 40 mb. I can't imagine a poll for all of 973 files there.
Regards.

Ok, sorry. I didn't mean for the poll to be a bad thing. I'm still getting used to the forums

.I realize your point and will think more before I put in a poll.
