Dagger Bug?

Well I recently bought a dagger the other day and it raised my attack to 34. Today though, when I was using it, I was only hitting 15's and at a very slow pace. Then when I Unequipped the dagger I was hitting 19's with my hands at a faster pace. Why is my dagger horrible? I just spend 1k on it and I'd like it to work right. Can someone give me an explanation. I'll be happy to answer any other questions about my problem that you may have.

I also have this problem.

This was solved but they didn't explain how or what or why.
EDIT: my attack wen't down from 36 to 18

This may be due to todays Halloween event.
All attacks are effect as far as I know.
The above thread's problem is unconnected afaik.

So this means it's going to be that way until halloween is over.
