The Mana World is free software. There is nothing wrong with using TMWs software and content for your own game as long as you follow the terms of the GNU General Public License.
Edit: Apparently the guy isn't. The archive doesn't include the sourcecode. I would drop him a line but the guy seems to be brazilian and those guys usually don't understand english.

Its just another uninspired game that creates nothing of its own....
However, I sometimes dream of pulling an Aizen (only fans of bleach will know what I'm talking about) then I could completely change the art direction in the game.

Technically, they can steal from us because we are using General Public Licensing… But it seems lazy and pointless, unless you somewhat change the look of the game or at lest try to create something different from the TMW.

I understand that this game is free, open source, but they just changed the main screen wallpaper... and the name, Krans Online...what a hell, it should be called "Screwed TMW", because it's just the samething that TMW is but with alot of bugs...and they never run the server for a complete hour. Just sad...

They do mention this project in their download zip (in /data/help/about.txt) but Google's translation of it doesn't make much sense, so I can't be sure what they say. Other than that, they appear to be taking all credit for the program and content.
