Snake dungeon

Together with dimonds cove we also added the new snake dungeon in the eastern desert. It is supposed to be a challenge for high level characters and should make grouping necessary. What do you think about it? Is it hard enough? If it isn't what could be done to make it harder?

The map has 10.000 maperrors. (or my svn-version is outdated...)
The challenge itself is hard enough I think.

I've noticed the map error's also. I'll see what I can do about fixing it up a little.

When you want to fix some map bugs you should notice that a new version with some fixes by QOAL has been committed to SVN a minute ago.

I like the cave a lot, I think it's well balanced. It'd be nice to have an NPC who sells iron arrows outside one of the entrances though. If no one else will do it, I will.

I must SHOUT that any new published map is extremely exciting.

I accept the fact that the game dynamics will continue to change and I will adapt my characters as the game evolves.

However, this map does feel like a reward for those players whom early on logically maximized their dexterity, but a punishment for those whom chose to role play as something other than an archer.

In the end, do not change the difficulty of this map. Keep it as it is.

I disagree, a maxed out vitality does wonders there to

You can always stay in the mines if this one's to hard for you
Just teasing :D
Maybe in the future we could make a new high-spawn dungeon with lower level monsters, like the spawnrate but with red slimes. That way the leap from mines to snake dungeon wouldn't be that big...

Do you have a suggestion how a map that favors melee fighters could be made?

If you want to help Fighters...make a cave like the snake cave just with black scorps

Why exactly are black scorpions better for fighters and snakes better for archers?
