The Holy Mana Clan invites both members and non-members to participate in our events this weekend. The theme of the events this weekend will be Couple Dance. Your dance partner's gender doesn't matter, but remember to wear matching clothes. It is not necessary to have the same dance partner in both parts. Prizes are individual, so both partners are rewarded.

First part - Saturday - dance with a newbie
Find a newbie (below level 30) to dance with, and make sure that you can wear the same costume. The dance is the mana world dance (sit, stand, sit, stand...) and you will get points when you are synchronized. There will be rewards as usual, and all who participate will get 5 points in advance for the second part.
1st prize: Infantry helmet, light platemail, jeans shorts, leather gloves and 3 snake skins
2nd prize: Silk headband, chainmail shirt, skirt/kilt and 2 snake skins
3rd prize: Fancy hat, desert shirt, skirt/kilt and 1 snake skins
Comfort prize: 50 beers

Second part - Sunday - freestyle dance
For this part you need to create your own choreography and practice with your dance partner. Remember that it should be possible to sit and watch the dance, so the choreography shouldn't require too much moving space. Try to create something that you can do on the dance floor in Dimond's Cove. Our celebrity judges will give you points in three categories: Originality (max. 10 points from each judge), difficulty (max. 10 points from each judge) and costume (max. 5 points from each judge). If you participated in the first part of the event, you also get 5 extra points, as I mentioned before.
Best couple: Shroom hat, jeans shorts and 3 snake skins
Second best couple: Mush hat and 2 snake skins
Third best couple: Jeans shorts and 1 snake skin
Comfort prizes: 30 chicken legs
Special comfort prize to the couple with the poorest performance: 100 beers each

Important: Please sign up in this thread so that I can make a list of the participating couples. Hopefully things will go more smoothly if I can just say which couple is up next. You only need to say who your partner is, you can keep your costume secret.

The first part, on Saturday, is at 20:00 game time, in town.

The Sunday event is after the HMC meeting as usual, and the place is Dimond's Cove. The meeting is at 19:00 game time, so the events are normally at around 20:00 game time.

Seems interesting, I shall take part aswell.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! I can't join at this rate as you said "dance with a newbie" I don't have any friends that are newbies! so originally I can't join the dance... So sorry!!!

My partner is Summerfs who is level 19.
I am level 62.
We will be wearing a fancy hat, a light platemail, and I will be wearing a skirt while
he will be wearing pants.
I hope that's okay.

Dawn, it doesn't have to be someone you already know. This is meant to be an opportunity to make new friends.

Also, it's ok to have one partner on Saturday, and another partner on Sunday. One of the reasons for this is to make sure that people will be able to participate even if they or their partners can't participate both days.

This is the place to sign up. It would be greatly appreciated if you could do so before the events.

And now would be a good time to do so, since it's almost time for the first part.

I did a ton better than I thought I would've.

What do you mean "Dimond and Summerfs"?
I shouldn't get the title. it's not fair.
I left at the last minute I shouldn't be counted.

Well, Dimond, if you don't want to get your reward because you left in the middle of the event, that is fine, but you did dance with Summerfs and the two of you were the second best couple. We can't say that Summerfs won second prize all by himself, because it was not a solo dance, after all.

Zerc and myself are interested in trying to redeem ourselves - third out of three is not good enough for us.
