Item shortcut bar in the 0.0 client

Just checked out the 0.0 client from svn and noticed the “new†shortcut bar.
One question. How do I remove something from the shortcut bar?
Two suggestions.
* It would be great to be able to shortcut armor as well; with a swift click change the appearance (might make it too easy though).
* Make the slot backgrounds transparent (I’d suggest the same to the inventory interface as well), while it’s good to quickly recognise the items I want to see beneath the window as well.
Is it possible to make it transparent, but to a lesser degree than the rest of the gui?
(Ah! the chat scrolling with PgUp/PgDn is great.
