i meen sometimes someone is teaching you to fight and you die and lose contact you cant even speak with him because there is no global chat , also useful for going to guild parties or to meet your friends in game without having to agree on the place by external forms of communication like irc or forums. GM's could use it to go quickly to were a suspect player is (like bots reported in irc) without the player having time to escape.. maybe the ngore intergace could be fixed to avoided abusers

Habari,

Just to talk to someone, you can generally use `/whisper'.

The potential for abuse for your initial proposal however is significant; not everybody wants everybody else to know where they are at all times. (Plus, this makes running away too easy.) A counter-proposal would be the `anchor' spell briefly mentioned in http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/ ... gic_system-- this would require consent between the two parties involved and suffer from the usual delayed effect of and potential cost for teleporting.
