Hello everyone,

on this sunday, the 6th of July, we will have a small event, beginning at 20:20 and ending at approximately 21:15 GMT. GMT is the time zone the chat events are usually shown in, unless your system clock is skewed-- check http://time.org to make sure. The event will be held in the Hurnscald town plaza. Hurnscald is also known as the `woodlands village'; the meeting place will be right next to Milly and the Soul Menhir in town.

Anyone can attend; there are no limits on level or game experience. If you are a few minutes late, you may still be able to enter as a late contestant but will be at a disadvantage. So please try to be punctual!

All contestants will win something-- though of course not everyone can win the first prize.


I would like to thank the HMC, Tokken (TOKKEN ARG) and Twinsen for sponsoring the event, and Sugar (sugarcorgit) for her help in organising it.

Is this the usual HMC event, or a replacement, or an alternative?

while HMC members will be helping in this event, the HMC as an organisation is not directly involved (hence the private sponsors). Also, while I as a non-HMC member cannot make any official claims on this matter, it is my understanding that there will be no competing HMC event.

two aspects have changed: First, the event will start 15 minutes later than originally planned, at 20:20 GMT.
Secondly, I have just been informed that the HMC will be sponsoring the event, for which I am very grateful!

Hello everyone,

today's event involved playing the game of Scrubble, wherein players had to construct the longest sensible sentence they could out of a set of words they were given.

• First place went to Vink, who was awarded the title of Wordmaster h.c.
• Second place went to Winky
• Third place went to Sue and Scraggy, who tied for this place.

Other players were Omega Red, Andretti, Koldax, Arilious, Hot Freako, Running Bear, and Tito 3. All of these either received consolation prizes or can them pick up from myself (Fate) at their earliest convenience


I would like to take this opportunity to thank the helpers for this eveng: Wordmasters Shroud, medave/evadem and sugarcorgit; of course, Sugar (sugarcorgit) was also a co-organiser but had a double role here. Thank you!

Further thanks go out to this event's sponsors: The Holy Mana Clan (HMC), which provided many of the prizes, as well as Tokken (TOKKEN ARG) and Twinsen, who both donated item prizes that were given out during the event.
