Helpers

One week ago there was a pickpocket - everything was clear and fine. Now there are many "pickpockets" but that's not the case...

Helpers - everyone met them, people who strike a single slime you are fighting with once and not only steal drops but some points of experience ("some" but after few days "thousands" is good word). This is no more about money. They steal our experience, money, friendly atmosphere (that was imho the strongest point of the game), fun and everything that was cool in this game, I am seriously thinking about removing tmw - just because devs don't want PVP in mines and caves. Do you really think that everybody start fighting with each other then? I don't think so, not in this game, but 100-150 hitpoints would teach these 10-15 lvls players that they are not owners of drops they didn't fight for and that player lvl 50-60 don't need help when fighting with single red slime.

PLEASE, DO SOMETHING.

I know that previous topic didn't make anything, but now it is not single "pickpocket" or smtg. There are dozens of such "players". What should we do? Invite them all to arena? <rotfl>

It is not so hard to make pvp, is it? Older players will still show youngsters how to make quests etc, believe me.

It isn't hard to make maps PvP. It can be done temporarily with a gm command. Do you want us to enable PvP in the mines for testing? Guess how long it will take until you beg us to switch it off again...

Two things:
  • Antipickpocket (or however it is spelled) is more like Robin Hood, stealing before pickpocket does and giving it to the player.
  • Generally, if someone does a single attack to the monster you're fighting, it'll increase the EXP you get from the battle.

Haven't seen any complaints about PvP in Aethyra

Don't forget that Aethyra has a much, much smaller userbase than the main TMW. It's hard to be a jackass when everyone knows each other.

Just a wishlist.

Is it possible to patch the server so that items can only be got by the person who kill the mobs in short period like 30 seconds?
