Favorite vehicle you ever owned?

Post by danleej »

So what was your favorite vehicle that you ever owned? For me it was a Nissan 720 extended bed 4X4 5 speed with the Z24 engine, over 500,000Kms on it and it still was going strong, I took it anywhere and everywhere abused the crap out of it and it still brought me home. But when I moved to Ontario I had to put 'er down, the frame was starting to rot and there was no where for me to take it off road here in Ontario let alone getting the safety done. Ahhh I still miss the ol truck, if I could find one in decent shape I would buy it in an instant lol.

Actually i've been having a lot of fun with my current vehicle, since i've been modifying it a bit here and there. Its a 1999 Daewoo Lanos SX 1.6 L, lots of fun and everyone laughed at it until gas prices hit record prices this summer. Giorgetto Guigiaro designed it, so it might be the only italian designed car in the whole of North Carolina, LOL. I made a custom mesh grille for it, put two 6x9's in the back, a new antenna and a new exhaust tip. Even though it only has a little over 100 Hp, it is very light, so it's agile and fast. Plus, it's so out of the ordinary, its actually a rare find. Maybe a collectors item someday. :D

My two feet - they last a lot longer than most vehicles (40+ years so far), don't need a driving license, road tax, an annual MOT, insurance, high petrol costs. Plus, it is far more healthier!
