Code: Select all

platinum:/home/eathena/tmwserver/db$ cat item_db.txt | grep -i shortbow | awk -F , '{print $1 $2}'
530 ShortBow
575 ShortBow
Looks like there is some screw up in server files. I have to fix them (the item 575 is Desert Bow).

Regards.

Okay as long as every archer in game is not going to be banned because they have a forest bow.

Many caps were obtained legitimately. And one set of golden armor was sold legitimately.

So all of the people that got the red caps legally have to give them up also?

So what about people like me that paid over 3Million in gold and rare items to get the armor, are we out of luck now and people like booth get to keep my money? Do we even get to trade them in for other legal rares? I did not even know that we could not have them, or I would not have bought it.

And how do you imagine, Mina, giving your money back? Just believe you and give the money? Then I would have a very long queue of people claiming they paid [enter amount of money here].

Tell me how the players got the red caps legitimately Jaxad.

Does Don get to keep his crown? since he drew it and you gave it to him as a gift.

So, the crooked people get richer by ripping off us unaware people and then convert their money to casino coins and keep all of the spoils.

Could we at least trade our items for other legal rare items?

That way there are more legal rare items in the game and less money and everyone wins?

I dont see how trading it for legal rare items would make less money ingame.
And indeed, people that were smart enough to sell their illegal rare hats will be richer. Thats how life works.

Black Don will keep his Crown, he mad it, so he has the right to have it.
I do not wish to hear whining and moaning. You knew very well these items never shouldn't get in game (I have explained it countless times during my events), also I can't believe everyone who promises me they paid alot of money for the items, I am unable to make any refunds, not to mention a thread about this "event" when stated clearly these items are illegal and will be removed sooner or later.

I am not angry at you (yet), it is not punishive action, I simply want to get rid of these items in game. It is a dirty work but someone has to do it.

I'd also suggest that you go through and delete all items/account of recipients of your trivia. These games give some people items without actually doing something where everyone can go to get them, whether it be the time they are held, or something like that.

If you ban accounts that have the above items, delete all accounts which have items not obtained by valid, legitimate, in-game processes. Trivia is not one of those. ;)
