I got a petal from an evil flower and then, i tried to use it, and when i did it nothing happened.
for example, if you try to use a bug's leg you will see this message "failed to use the item" but when you use a petal, the previous message is not displayed and you lose the petal.

I know it is not a big deal but I think you can improve it.

You actually eat the petal, gaining some health and magic.
