In every free software project, when it grows, there is a moment, when new people come and think that they can do better than the old members of that project. Time to get used to it even if it was fun.

Platyna's has a thankless job and does it well I think. Besides she should stay just to spite Matt.

I got alot of nice PMs and emails from you people - thanks for them, so I think I can hang around here for a little more. Start crying.

Ok, I was told how unwanted I am here. The condition to stay was to stop objecting for the developers etc. to be made GMs.
Too bad we hadn't so many peope concerned into server privileges three years ago, when I was told by Elven he don't care about eathena at all, but well, now we have. Now certain people can have their desired level 99 and no one will object.

Know tht I tried to provide unbiased and fair service to the community.

Too bad it didn't worked out. Adios.

Whoa hold on, who said we didn't want you here? Just because one person says it, doesn't mean the whole community means it. Even if it was a developer, or just a couple of them. They aren't the ONLY people here. Please stay.

Well when a project admin says so I have to take it into account. And I don't like sit where I seem to be redundant.

Bjorn decided developers will be given powers, for the first days I have left they raised the discussion on the TMW channels where they have basically demanded them under cover of freedom of speech, fun, testing stuff and helping out etc. They were given very high levels, higher than levels of GMs. Yesterday one of them - despite any abuse handling regulations made a character killable and then bragged on the channel he has more power than GM (I have relevant logs if one of interested people will say I am lying).

From what I have spoken with Bjorn, he seems to be afraid if those people will not have rewards there will be problems with tmwserv development nd they will leave the project.

He also said that if I disagree with making developers ad his GF high level GMs, then he will move the server to a different host.

I have spoke with the developer who made a char killable and I got following input:
- I have insulted and belited him when I stated he abused the power he shouldn't have on the first place.
- He fights for his char, sanity, and freedom of speech.
- It is a number on the server, not very important (after over an hour of discussion defending it).
- It doesn't matter for him if I as a server admin disagreed.
- It would be cool if Jaxad and fate also had the powers on the server.

Also I was told that developers are supposed to test stuff on the official server, which can affect its stability - we can already observe eathena crashing every hour due to their changes, which were never properly tested. My suggestion that I will create 1:1 test server with ssh access had been ignored.

We have so many unfinished stuff - alot of content, tmwserv, eathena crashing - what do our briliant team of developers did right after I left? Raised hell on IRC to get powers.

When peavey and Jaxad came along I was happy they will help me in content development. But it wasn't even a month when they started to argue with me, ignore all my suggestions, and raise hell even about such issues like commit reviews and order of files on the server, as an attempt towards their freedom, open source and integrity, as well as turning Bjorn against me.

So after three years of my devoted work, in a month I became a useless and annoying person standing on the way to the glory of content development.

So, if we have a project where such people are developers and they are sacred cows demanding powers as the reward for their work, then well, we can only enjoy and anxiously seek future.

Ah it is also nice to hear from our adult developers remarks such "oh my, Platyna is leaving? It is second time this month hahaha".

So now if you know whole the story, I believe you will underestand my motives better.

I'm not going to bother respond to this (yes, I know...). I just want to say that from my point of view, Platyna is taking everything out of context and drawing the wrong conclusions. To set some stuff right, I do not give developers GM rights as a reward for their contributions. I only said we'd have to move to a different server when she doesn't let me run it the way I want. That includes the fact that I made my girlfriend a GM, not because of my close relationship with her, but because of her relationship with the community.

And, I didn't ask Platyna to leave because I'm not appreciating her contribution to this game. I appreciated it a lot. I asked her to leave because in sharing her view with the rest of the team, she doesn't seem to care about other points of view. And in defending her own view, she's insulting other developers. This was standing in the way of going forward as a team.

Yes, you asked me to leave, because I "insulted" peavey by telling that he abused the power, he shouldn't have at the first place.
Bad, bad, Platyna, with bad attitude, insulting random people. :)
And you Bjorn didn't noticed that the team started to decay when peavey and Jaxad joined it and started to demand powers over everything, including order of files on the server, but suddenly it is the fault of a person who for three years tend to keep the team and community toghether.
Too bad they couln't, like fate, get over their great ambitions and totaly wrong feeling of freedom, for the good of the project, and like he not feel humiliated or belited when I asked to see the changes before they go on SVN.

As can be seen on the attached pictures I had no reason to feel responsible for certain things. It was all because I love to be bossy and I am powerhungry, not telling that I love bashing developers. ;>

BTW, it was not me who did any of these entries. There roles were assigned to me by ElvenProgrammer and you, Bjorn.
