Offensive, or just plain stupid? (POLL)

I saw this player the other day and couldn't stop myself from taking a screenshot. Now, because i don't want to be picky about every little thing, i chose not to put this in the abuse forum, because i wanted to know your opinion first. Also, if you really couldn't care less, there's an option for that too.

Well the name may have been meant in a derrogative manner or it may have not, but personally I fail to see the stupidity or offensiveness of it. There are other character names I have seen which I personally may find a bit strange, but not this one.

I agree. There's nothing inherently offensive about the name, unless you consider gay sex to be inherently offensive, and if you do, a lot of people will be offended by that instead.

Stupid? No. It's not particularly deep a name, but there's nothing stupid about it.
Offensive? I do realise that the term `sorcerer' is often associated with dark or evil magic, but there is nothing inherently wrong with that in a fantasy game. (Or were you somehow associating `gay' or `sex' with something offensive? No, unlikely.)
Indifferent? I'm actually a bit amused, but I guess that this is the next-best option.

Personally, i'm neither offended or do i think it's stupid, hence the option for indifference. I just wanted opinions, and as i look at the poll, i can see that some one was indeed offended.

I'm not trying to make any points, or by any means do i mean to make any derrogatory remarks about sexual orientations, i'm just trying to see where some people will draw the line on this matter, that's all. I think it's the curious cat in me...
