Can I borrow someone's white gloves?

I don't know where mine ended up but they are gone and now I cannot complete the Seamtress quest...can't even start it!
I just need them for the quick talk with her...I can meet you anywhere in game, preferably already in the tavern where she is at. I would be willing to give whoever lets me borrow them 1000 gold so I can finish this stupid quest already.
