When I tried brewing monster oil, I got killed of course. No complaint about that. But the next time I looked, all 12 of my snake skins were gone, along with 1 of 2 Jack O Souls.

Being killed is one thing. Stealing my stuff is another. Where are the cops when you need them!?

Ingredients are used up in the attempt. Though Jack O Souls aren't ingredients. Did the server crash? That can cause data loss.

Okay, I accept that ingredients are lost if it doesn't work. But I thought it only called for 3 skins. I only tried it once so I should have lost (among other things) 3 snake skins. Instead, I lost 12. My inner child is yelling, NO FAIR!

As for a server crash, I don't think so. Losing the connection is quite frequent but I don't think it's always a server crash. And, for this issue, I didn't even lose the connection.

Any idea of how the Jack O Soul could have disappeared? I had two and then suddenly only one.

Please don't consider this a complaint. I'm grateful to be able to play this game and amazed that it is free! It's just that, if this happened to me, maybe there's a glitch somewhere. If you've never heard this before, I'm sure everything is fine.
